How Roof Rejuvenation Works
Over time, sun, heat and weather pull the natural oils out of asphalt shingles. They become brittle, shed granules and eventually crack. The rejuvenation treatment is sprayed evenly across the roof, forms a protective layer on the surface, then soaks deep into each shingle where it reacts with the asphalt to replace lost oils and restore flexibility.
Why We Use Peak 301®
The formula is made with roughly 35% soy oil and contains no methyl esters, which allows it to penetrate deeper than many surface-only sprays. Independent testing by the manufacturer reports flexibility restored by close to 50%, untreated shingles losing more than twice as many granules as treated ones, and fire spread reduced from 44 inches to 14 inches after a single application.
Is My Roof a Good Candidate?
Rejuvenation works best on asphalt shingle roofs that are aging but still structurally sound — no widespread rot, missing sections or major leaks. We inspect your roof first and only recommend the treatment if it will genuinely extend the life of your roof. One application is guaranteed to add at least six years, and roofs in decent condition often get closer to a decade.
